Here's some answers to some questions some of you sometimes have :-)

When is Easter? .. a very good question!
5th - 9th April 2012

Where is Eastercamp?
Mystery Creek Events Centre, south of Hamilton.

When does camp start and finish?
The gates open 6pm Thursday 5th April. Camp finishes approx 2pm Monday 9th April.

Who is camp for?
Young people Year 9 upwards to 20yrs

How many people go?
Last year there were 4200 people at ec 2011!!

How much is camp?
Earlybird fee .. by Sunday 26th Feb  $149.00pp or $134.00pp if more than one person from the same family.

Full fee .. Feb 27th - March 25th   $165.00pp .. no family discount

What does this include?
The camp fee includes most activities, all meals, all programming, bands etc. You are responsible for your own tents (with your youth group) and your transport to and from camp.

Can I register with you myself?
No, you must register and go with a Youth Group. If you do not go to a Youth Group, email us so we can link you up with one near you. We do not accept individual registrations.

Can I come out for just a day?
NO NO NO! We do not allow day visits, for security reasons. Please don't ask your friends to come out to see you, they will not be allowed in.

However, if you are unable to come for the whole time due to work committments, or other valid reasons, you can miss up to one day of camp. To do this, you must apply in writing and it must be signed by a parent. Give this to your Youth Leader, and have them notify us of your details. Otherwise, you will not be allowed in or out of the campsite.
We do NOT offer discounts for partial attendance of camp.

Can I come to camp early to set up tents?
Your Youth Leader can make arrangements with us to have your group come early to set up tents. You can only come out with them as a group.  The site will be available from Tuesday 3rd April (12pm) between the hours of 9am - 5pm only. Mystery Creek will not allow sites to be set up outsite of these hours

What do I need to bring?
Something to sleep in and on. All sleeping is in tents. Warm clothes, old clothes, good shoes for sports etc. Your Bible and notebook and money for the various stalls that will be operating .. (mainly food) and camp merchandise. Bring your own cup. Plates, knives and forks WILL be provided.

Musical Instruments for the Talent Scan and other events.

Skateboards and Roller Blades if this is what you are into.

What DON'T I bring?
Alcohol and Drugs. Either of these will result in your going home immediately .. no exceptions, no refunds. If the law is broken, the onsite police will be informed.

If you bring your Ipod or Cell Phone, you do so at your own risk .. they do go missing.

A stink attitude .. everyone hates that!

Is there Eftpos?
No, but there is an ATM on site.

Do you cater for special diets?

There will be a special vegetarian and gluten free menu, but you must put this on your rego form, so we can work out numbers. We can not cater for vegans. There is a $10.00 surcharge for this.

Other more specialized diets can not be catered for. You will need to bring your own food. We will have refrigeration space available. You will need to have your Youth Leader contact us so we can work this out.
